Essential Functions

The Sales and Use Tax Analyst is responsible for the preparation and filing of monthly sales and use tax returns for the U.S. and Canada. This position will be required to gather, review, and analyze monthly transactions and record any necessary adjusting journal entries. This position will also be responsible for analyzing credits, filing refund claims, and assisting with sales use tax audit issues. The Sales and Use Tax Analyst must have excellent written and oral communication skills as he/she will be corresponding directly with business personnel at all levels of the Company and will be required to gain an in depth understanding of the business divisions.
Prepare and file monthly sales/use tax returns for the U.S. and Canada.
Gather, review, and analyze monthly transactional data for accuracy and compliance with sales and use tax rules . Process any necessary adjusting journal entries.
Reconcile sales and use tax accrued liability accounts.
Analyze credits and proactively file refund claims.
Respond to correspondence with state and local taxing authorities.
Respond to inquires from internal and external customers.
Maintain Sabrix (OneSource)/Oracle tax set-ups.
Review and enter customer exemption certificates.
Research company purchases and issue necessary exemption certificates to vendors.
Assist with sales and use tax audit issues by analyzing documents, applying legal analysis and drafting audit responses.
Maintain proper registration, filing frequency, and payment methods.
Oversee and maintain tax calendar to ensure all filing deadlines are met.
Research sales and use tax issues and proactively monitor new law changes to inform the business.
Assist with process improvements and systems implementations.
Prepare special projects for the Sales and Use Tax Manager Sr. as necessary.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance. Familiar with US Sales and Use Tax Laws. Strong attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. Team player. Possesses and applies a basic knowledge of accounting/cost accounting principles and practices. Good communication skills. CPA and Corporate tax experience preferred..

Position Summary

Under general supervision, assists in maintaining tax records and assists in preparing all or specifically assigned tax returns and related reports. Handles special projects, as assigned.

Essential Functions

Responsible for acting as Lead Recruiter, internal SME and business advisor with regards to talent acquisition strategy and process. Lead full cycle recruiting from job creation to new hire onboarding.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate with hiring manager and HR Business Partner to initiate and facilitate the req creation process. Facilitate information gathering regarding vacancy and make recommendations on job title, requirements and compensation.

• Develop recruiting strategy to successfully fill open vacancies.

• Identify and attract highly qualified talent for open positions utilizing various sourcing channels.

• Conduct inital candidate screening to verify qualifications and cultural fit.

• Discuss recruiting results and review qualified candidate profiles with hiring manager. Make recommendations on candidates selected for interview and offer.

• Work with hiring manager, HR Business Partner and Compensation to develop offer package. Extend verbal offer to candidate and close.

• Conduct new hire orientation as needed.

• Proactively manage all candidate and hiring manager communications during the recruiting process.

• Serve as liaison between candidate and hiring manager during the recruiting process.

• Assist Recruiting Coordinator when necessary. May include interview scheduling, offer letter creation, pre-employment screening.

• Organize job fairs and other career events.

• Advise on interview techniques and tools (behavioral interviewing).

• Support efforts to report and track recruiting KPIs via applicant tracking system (i.e. Time-to-fill, Offer Acceptance, etc.), MS Excel and other tools/dashboards.

• Make process and practice recommendations based on talent acquisition best practices and innovative recruiting.

• Support and lead Talent Acquisition programs and projects including, but not limited to, contingent workforce, affirmative action outreach, diversity recruiting, recruiting systems development, etc.

• Leverage experience to coach other members of the Talent Acquisition team on recruiting approach and strategy.

• Provide back-up for Talent Acquisition Manager as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience leading full-cycle Talent Acquisition activities within a corporate environment.

• Experience in successfully identifying candidates for positions in all disciplines and at all levels within the organization, including senior management and executive openings.

• Experience conducting situational and behavioral type interviews, including in-person.

• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems.

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills required. Must have high attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks/projects at different stages and with varying priorities at once.

• Ability to work autonomously with confidence and ask for general direction when needed.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a focus on customer service (internal and external).

• Takes initiative with a high sense of urgency.

Bachelors Degree or educational equivalent. 6 years experience and 4 years HR recruiting experience. Comprehensive knowledge of recruitment practices and strategies. Basic knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources as applied to talent selection and onboarding. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to work under pressure and multi-task. Ability to work in a team environment. Experience working with an ATS system preferred.

Position Summary

Responsible for the fulfillment of specific recruitment goals for all areas of the organization. Responsible for building an ongoing candidate pipeline by utilizing creative sourcing strategies including: cold calling, online databases, social media sites, job boards, contact lists and employee referrals. Manage the full life-cycle of the recruitment process. Participate in workforce planning sessions with operations and Manager of Talent Acquisition. Recruit, screen and interview internal and external applicants. Provide guidance to the organization in respect of filling vacancies and improving the recruitment process. Develop professional network with diverse professional organizations, educational institutions and government sponsored groups for the successful achievement of organizational recruitment goals.
