Reporting to the VP, Talent Casting & Recruitment, the Videographer/Photographer/Editor is responsible for executing and editing video and photographic content in conjunction with the Manager, Influencer Marketing in support of the broader marketing and recruitment objectives of the Casting Team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees audio and video operations in the creation of marketing content.
  • Edits and delivers finalized marketing and promotional materials, in coordination with the objectives and aesthetic standards set forth by the VP, Talent Casting & Recruitment and the Manager, Influencer Marketing.
  • Oversees pacing and flow of all video content to drive user engagement and education of the RWS Entertainment Group suite of initiatives and projects
  • Builds content to match the marketing initiatives set forth by the VP to ensure content exceeds expectations whilst remaining within budget.
  • Work closely with Production and Artistic Services Teams to ensure that video and photo content aligns with the creative standards set forth by the executive team.
  • Remain up to date on new trends in video production and leverages those trends to enhance RWS’ media content

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience filming and editing video; prior experience with the creation of high-quality social media content.

RWS Entertainment Group is currently searching for an AVP, Production Operations, to oversee the successful production management for projects on land, at sea and everywhere in between.

Reporting to the VP, Production Services & Operations, the AVP, Production Operations will oversee operational responsibility for all RWS experiences including but not limited to projects for cruise ships, theme parks, resorts, corporate events, and décor installs. EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:

Technical Director at RWS Entertainment Group Job Description

RWS Entertainment Group is currently seeking a Technical Director to serve as technical leadership for multiple projects spanning entertainment markets such as corporate events, theme parks, cruise ships, holiday décor installations, immersive experiences, as well as other projects within the company.

Reporting to the Director, Technical Services, the ideal candidate will be responsible to oversee, educate, and guide project teams in supporting all technical aspects of the production process.  This role is part administrative, part hands-on, and will lead in-house and contracted technical staff to manage the details needed to ensure the successful and safe development, installation, operation, and strike of performance productions and experiential activations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure all technical aspects of the production work smoothly, efficiently, and safely
  • Provide organization and synthesis of technical/artistic information between the production divisions within RWS as well as clients and vendors.
  • Ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations as outlined by OSHA, ANSI, and all local, state, federal, and international governing bodies (as applicable).
  • Facilitate and/or assist in the bid process for all technical equipment and services.
  • Provide comprehensive technical quote estimates for total cost within project timeline
  • Provide onsite supervision, leadership, and instruction to execute installations in accordance with designer’s vision and safe working practices as needed
  • Generate technical manuals, guidelines, installation/operation instructions, and as-built documentation for use by internal and external parties.
  • Resolve operational issues through coordination with RWS staff, contractors, clients, and on-site staff.
  • Manage projects within budget, partnering with Project Managers on proper allocations
  • Translate the designer’s CAD drawings into working construction drafting for bids and builds as necessary, maintaining the integrity of the designer’s vision and proper safety standards throughout this process.
  • Manage project technical teams (in-house and contracted) by providing support, feedback, and clear communication to ensure project needs meet expectations, timelines, and budgets.
  • Acquire and demonstrate awareness of both RWS’ and the venue’s safety procedures including Emergency Action Plans, PPE Requirements, Lock-out Tag-out Procedures, and additional protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and provide assessment for all aspects of technical production including, but not limited to, lighting, audio, video, projection, special effects, pneumatics, heavy and simple machinery, power tools, and similar.
  • Lead a technical handoff of assigned projects to train venue management and technical staff in the proper execution, maintenance, and operation of the Experience once installed.
  • Continually assess project and resource requirements.  Provide suggestions to best utilize available resources and/or procure additional support as needed.
  • Ensure all production technical elements are performance-ready and meet the RWS Standard by final dress rehearsal, walk-through, or given deadline.
  • Assist with overall production needs as reasonably requested.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in Technical Theatre or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the technical entertainment and live event production industry with a minimum of 2 years specific focus on experiential installs and events.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required.
  • OSHA, IVES, First Aid, and additional entertainment certifications a strong plus.
  • ETCP certified individuals highly encouraged to apply.

Reporting to the VP, Production Operations, the Company Manager will oversee the daily operations and logistics for Holland America’s Step One Dance Company, Cantaré, Billboard Onboard, Lincoln Center Stage, and Rolling Stone Rock Room programs. They will drive the performer experience from casting to next contract, ensuring efficiency and top-notch professionalism in order to retain the highest-quality performers possible. They will work closely with Holland America leadership and internal teams at RWS to provide continuous improvement and client satisfaction by upholding the quality standards and vision of the product. The person in this role is operationally minded, highly organized, and a critical thinker. They thrive with multi-faceted work and complex problem-solving. Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of select Holland America Line entertainment programs and foster an elevated, highly-professional experience for each contracted performer with the goal of achieving targeted retention rates.
  • Collaborate with client leadership on high-level performer rotation and contract planning based on fleet deployment and financial targets.
  • Liaise with RWS Casting to identify casting needs by analyzing attrition and scale and striving to build the active roster necessary in each role to successfully operate each program.
  • Manage the profiles for contracted performers by working in the client-provided database and ensuring all required data is current and complete for ease of reference.
  • Oversee the rehearsal, show teach, and wardrobe operations of each program and assure product and process quality standards as expected by Holland America are met.
  • Effectively and thoughtfully lead dedicated account personnel to meet cost and quality targets and timely deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams at RWS and Holland America to organize and confirm performer payroll setup, housing and all travel needs including visas and medicals.
  • Manage operational budgets to ensure cost control and optimization. Communicate with RWS Finance for timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Strive for continuous process-improvement and automation of processes to balance cost while controlling quality and efficiency, often searching for cost-innovative solutions and challenging the status quo.
  • Communicate with shipboard teams to provide ongoing show and administrative support.
  • Facilitate and organize show installations as required.
  • Project manage new creations and implementations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and creatives.

Co-reporting to the Director of Production Operations, Land and Director of Production Operations, Sea, the Coordinator, Operations (Land + Sea) will provide overarching support for the department responsible for providing production operations and management for all forms of experiences produced by RWS Entertainment Group on both land and at sea.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain departmental calendar, staff documentation and daily schedules.
  • Coordinate materials and keep record of notes for production development and departmental meetings.
  • Arrange, organize and distribute specific communication materials.
  • Help resolve operational issues through coordination with RWS, contractors and clients.
  • Update training handbooks, materials, and signage.
  • Facilitate timely sharing of information to all relevant parties.
  • Submit expense reports, accounts payables and reimbursements for department, as needed.
  • Assist travel Coordinator with Cruise Line Travel, Housing & Transfer Logistics
  • Coordinate Performer Pre-Employment Medical Exam Appointments
  • Maintain and draft departmental S.O.P.’s as assigned and ensure the departmental “Knowledge Base” is kept up to date.
  • Create or update Performer Orientation presentations as assigned
