Who We’re Looking For

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the creation and execution of category procurement strategies for specific Professional Services categories.
Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services Procurement, the person in this role will support the Indirect Procurement department’s objective to implement procurement strategies to reduce cost and mitigate risk for the business.

What You’ll Be Doing 

•    Ensure delivery of accurate and timely client payroll processing (weekly and biweekly payrolls for a total of 45K team members across a multi-state business model.)
•    Participate in third-party vendor partnerships related to strategic projects, payroll processing, and delivery.
•    Lead vendors and business partners to meet deadlines for accurate and timely delivery of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls.
•    Participate in year-end reconciliation and delivery of W2s.
•    Participate in tax filing and deposit processing and funding process.
•    Maintain audits and reporting to support Payroll analytics for users and other departments we support.
•    Support multiple-time reporting systems, payroll processes, and unique customers.
•    Practice process improvement techniques to reengineer and build in quality (analyze the process, milestone development, and quality gates.)
•    Handle multiple cases through our case management system to support TM issue resolution.
•    Responsible for project testing that will guarantee successful launches.
•    Analyze data that performs regression testing assurance prior to delivery or launch of projects.

What You Bring 

•    Prior experience in a large corporation, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related area, or equivalent work experience
•    Thorough knowledge of state and federal wage and hour laws, general payroll tax requirements, and understanding of how payroll transactions impact the general ledger.
•    Progressive years of payroll experience for a large, multi-state employer in a shared services environment.
•    Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
•    Ability to participate as an SME for special projects

Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Powertrain Calibration Engineering – 1 (PCE1) Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Engine Calibration (EFI) Engineer.

The primary responsibility of this role is to calibrate the engine control systems to meet Toyota, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Reporting to a Senior Manager of EFI Calibration, the person in this role will support the PCE1 department’s objective to calibrate world class powertrains in America.

What you’ll be doing

  • Execute engine control development activities as a member of a diverse calibration team to meet requirements for North America and global markets
  • Complete engine calibration and testing for vehicle drivability in accordance with procedures to meet regulations and other market requirements
  • Prepare and manage calibration and resource schedule to meet development deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Data collection, advanced data analysis, and preparation of technical reports on a regular basis
  • Develop new procedures and tools for testing, data analysis, and calibration
  • Build successful relationships with related vehicle departments
  • Conduct vehicle testing and development under extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, high altitude)

What you bring

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in engine calibration
  • Experience in drivability calibration development (power/performance, shock/response, S&S, startability, turbo control, etc)
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/C/C++ programming languages
  • Experience investigating complex technical issues and creating effective technical solutions
  • Excellent driving record
  • Self-motivated and responsible with willingness to work overtime to accomplish goals (up to 20%)
  • knowledge of mechanical engineering principles along with analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to travel (10-15%)

What you may bring

  • Experience with gasoline engine calibration
  • Thorough understanding of internal combustion engine theory/practice
  • Experience in hybrid powertrain calibration
  • Understanding of Emission and OBD regulations for US and other markets
  • Experience in calibration software management
  • Experience calibrating engine controls for markets other than the US (Japan, Europe, China, etc.)
  • Advanced engineering degree
  • Hands-on experience working on vehicles either through SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), previous co-op or similar experience
  • Experience with Model-Based calibration processes
  • Experience with other programming languages such as Python, VBA, etc.
  • Japanese language skill
  • Toyota work experience
